Alan Newcombe R.I.P

It’s with great sadness that the Titans learned of the passing of Maidstone Pumas Offensive Lineman Alan ‘Minty’ Newcombe on sunday 16th August.Alan Newcombe Alan collapsed during the game on the sidelines having it is believed participated in the game earlier.

A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed crews were called to the pitch at 4.45pm – about two hours after the match had started – to treat a man, in his twenties, who had stopped breathing.

The ambulance crew gave him medical assistance en-route to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.

We at the Titans would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Alan’s family, friends and all at the Pumas at this sad time.
